David Ian Allan, 53, of Dunnville, Ontario, passed away on December 17, 2018 at the Welland County General Hospital.
Funeral service will be held at Ballard Minor Funeral Home on Friday, December 21, 2018 at 11:00AM. Visitation will be held at Ballard Minor Funeral Home on Thursday, December 20 from 6:00PM-8:00PM.
David was born in Scotland to David and Mary Allan on April 18, 1965. He worked for Tim Hortons opening stores all over Canada and the U.S. He then bought his own truck and became an owner/operator for Challenger Motor Freight. He enjoyed playing guitar, riding and working on motorcycles, and watching hockey. He received a lung transplant in 2008 because of the generosity of a donor and their family.
David is survived by his wife Tetje, daughter Megan, mother Mary, sister Judith, brother Gordon (Tammy), as well as nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, David.
